I'm creating a door of many portals. I need a handle to rig to some spellwork to allow those without magic to cycle through locations.

It sounds like a wonderful challenge. I'd be happy to assist.

Tell me, any handle? Or are there properties for it that I should take into account?

Any handle, in theory. Back home we use a kind of dial -

[ He sends a mental image of a sort of hand-sized button, circular, and another with a hand twisting it left and right. Symbols glow at each quarter to mark the four different locations. ]

But back home the doors aren't regular doors. Mine's my front door, and will need to function like one too, so either a handle that can serve both purposes or a two-part mechanism with one part for choosing the destination and the other for opening and closing would work just as well. Ideally with a way to demarcate the chosen location.

I can speak with Vojislav. He and Iskra have been generous with me, and I believe they'd be accommodating of my work for you.

How would you prefer I handle the listing of locations? Or is that something you'll add once it's been completed?

Just a space left for their addition once I've settled on each will be fine. Or you might use symbols, numbers, something similarly non-specific. If possible, there should either be at least six or the option to easily add more as the number of locations increases, whichever works better with your design.

What would you accept in return for the work and the necessary resources? I don't expect you to know exactly what the work's worth to you yet. I can offer an IOU of future assistance of comparable value.

I'll design it with twelve slots, with numbers painted. I'm sure you can modify it as you need, though creating it with the option to add more spaces after will be a nice challenge for me.

A favor is more than acceptable. We can haggle over what the favor becomes once the work is complete. Do we have an accord?
